ChatyChat Privacy Policy

ChatyChat is an Instagram automation application designed to help authorized Instagram business accounts process interactions such as comments and, when configured, send appropriate private replies.

Information We Receive

When you connect an Instagram account or interact with an Instagram account using ChatyChat, Meta may provide information required for the requested automation. Depending on the enabled features and webhook subscriptions, this information may include Instagram account identifiers, usernames, comment identifiers, comment text, media identifiers and media type, timestamps, and message or interaction-related event data.

How We Use Information

We use information only to operate ChatyChat, process configured automation rules, respond to Instagram interactions, maintain security, troubleshoot technical problems, prevent duplicate processing, and improve reliability.

Storage and Security

ChatyChat uses server-side security controls to protect application credentials and access tokens. Operational webhook information may be stored for legitimate operational, security, and troubleshooting purposes and is retained only as reasonably necessary for those purposes or as required by law.

Sharing of Information

ChatyChat does not sell or rent personal information. Information may be exchanged with Meta and Instagram as necessary to provide the requested Instagram functionality. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or necessary to protect the security and integrity of the service.

Data Deletion

You may request deletion of data controlled by ChatyChat at any time. Instructions are available on our Data Deletion page.

Your Choices

You may disconnect or revoke ChatyChat's access to an Instagram account through the applicable Meta or Instagram account settings. Revoking access may prevent ChatyChat features from operating.

Third-Party Platform

ChatyChat uses Meta and Instagram APIs but is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta or Instagram.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the service, applicable requirements, or our data practices change. The effective date above will be updated when appropriate.
